How To ConnecT To Your Spiritual Self

What comes to mind when you hear the word personality? Perhaps you think in terms of being extroverted vs introverted. What about your spiritual personality? Does it differ from your daily personality?

DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES

There are usually two different types of people in our three dimensional world. Those who are deeply rooted to the earth, they find it easy to remain grounded and typically more fact based.

Then you have the other category, those who are considered dreamers, have the “heads in the clouds”, ones who feel like they come from the stars and have a hard time grounding themselves.

We all have spiritual personalities, where it is really important to weave the above two personality types into one. In order to live out our entire soul’s mission, we need to remember where we came from, but also anchor ourselves to mother Earth to achieve our life’s purpose – in this lifetime.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR SPIRITUAL ENERGY

  1. 1. DAILY RITUALS

Before you immediately start objecting to this idea and think about how you can’t possibly wake up any earlier in the morning than you already do, let me clarify that daily does not mean morning only.

Rituals also do not have to be time consuming, you can have a five minute long ritual that will help you ground and set a tone for your day.

Even starting your day with intentional 60 second focused breathing can slow down your brain waves to help connect with the subconscious part of your mind

You can fit short daily rituals like breathing, smudging, meditation, connecting with nature, etc – into small pockets of time throughout the day

2. DAILY DOSE OF NATURE

Speaking of nature, spending time in nature helps to balance out your chakras, the energetic wheels where most people expereince blockages, leading to physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances. We are not separate from nature, we are it! So take the time to fully connect.

3. PRACTICE LOVE

Love is the highest frequency of vibration when it comes to emotions. Expressing kindness and compassion is a natural way to connect more to your higher self.

4. MUSIC, SOUND, MOVEMENT

Listening to music that emotionally moves you can be very healing. Using modalities such as sound bath and chanting connects with your essence and reaches the deepest parts of your soul, that may not be accessible through conscious mind.

Body movement can take on many different forms as well: dancing, yoga, walking, exercising. The point is to express yourself freely.

5. LISTEN TO YOUR GUT

Give yourself the freedom to listen to that inner knowing. Even when it goes against all the conditioning you grew up with, especially when it goes against the conditioning.
